Running east from Jerome Ave. is East 167th Street, and in the foreground is Shakespeare Ave. The 5-story brick and four 2-story frame buildings on Jerome Ave. bear Nos. 1210 to 1214, and the frame houses contiguous to the brick one on the north side of East 167th Street, bear Nos. 11 to 19 on the latter, extending east to River Ave. James Suydam.
