Manhattan: Park Avenue - 48th Street

Park Avenue, south from 48th Street, the Grand Central Yards, before electrification, and the old Grand Central Station. Behind the station towers the newly built Hotel Belmont at Park Avenue and 42nd Street. To the right, is seen Tiffany House on the east side of Madison Avenue between 45th and 44th Streets, and behind it, the Hotel Manhattan, on N.W. corner of Madison Avenue and 42nd Street. The small building on N.E. corner of Madison Avenue and 45th Street is old Railroad Y.M.C.A., where Hotel Roosevelt will later stand.
