Manhattan: 9th Avenue - 17th Street
Ninth Avenue (elevated line thereon), south from W. 17th (left) Street. Below same and occupying an entire square block is the mammoth Port of N.Y. Authority Building. View No. 3 shows the westerly portion of same on the eastern side of the Avenue between 16th and 15th Streets. No. 2 is an eastward view on 17th Street, showing structures at the S.E. and N.E. corners. To the left of the latter is a vacant lot which has recently been cleared.
