Manhattan: West Street - Perry Street

(1) West Street, east side, from Perry Street, opposite Pier 47, North River, to West 11th (formerly Hammond) Street, opposite Pier 48. No 425 West Street, at the south corner of West 11th, is a frame building faced with brick. March 8, 1929. P. L. Sperr. (2) The same, two years later, and almost half a year after the opening of the Canal-23rd Street section of the West Side Elevated Highway, underneath which the photographer is standing. Nos. 424 and 425, at and adjoining the south corner of West 11th Street, have been cut down to one-story only. See 11th Street. April 18, 1931. P. L. Sperr.
