Manhattan: Broadway - 39th Street

The Metropolitan Opera House, Broadway, west side, from 39th to 40th Streets, showing also 39th Street, north side, from Broadway to Seventh Avenue. The Metropolitan was built in 1883, and its interior was rebuilt in 1892, after it was destroyed by fire.
