Manhattan: 124th Street (West) - Amsterdam Avenue

W. 124th Street, east from Amsterdam Avenue and across same. View No. 2 shows mainly the south side and upon which stands 15 five story tenement houses owned by John D. Rockefeller Jr. These, consisting of Nos. 432 to 400 W. 124th Street, are to be demolished according to the New York Times of October 5, 1938. No plans for the future use of this site have yet been announced. Backing up to this row is the rear of the Lincoln School of Teachers College on 123rd Street. August 1930 View 2: August 24, 1938.
