Brooklyn: Montague Street - Clinton Street

Montague Street, south side, between Clinton and Court Streets. At the extreme right is the U.S. Court, next to it the Academy of Design, and next to the last mentioned the Academy of Music. At the left of the Music Hall, a saloon was opened in 1860 by Andrew Suydam, later acquired by John M. Groarty (1881) who also owned the Oceanus House at Rockaway Beach. 1870. Eugene L.
