Manhattan: 5th Avenue - 33rd Street

Fifth Avenue, north from 29th Street, showing prominently the recently completed Empire State Building. This structure occupies the west frontage of this avenue, from 33rd to 34th Streets and stands on the old Waldorf-Astoria Hotel site. Beyond at 42nd Street is the complementary 500 Fifth Avenue structure. Wurts Brothers. 1931
