Manhattan: Beaver Street - William Street

Beaver Street, east from and across William Street, showing prominently the new 35 story Wall and Hanover Building. This fronts on Hanover Street, extending from Beaver to Wall Street. At the rear of same and occupying the apex of this triangular block is the 25 story Munson S. S. Line Building. This point is where Beaver Street converges with Wall Street. Note excavation work in the foreground of View 2 where former low buildings of the Farmers Loan and Trust Co. and the Canadian Bank of Commerce stood. Upon this site will rise the 59 story City Bank Farmers Trust Co. Building. These views are taken from the Kerr Building, at No. 38-46 Beaver Street and are across the low triangular roof of the Merchant Marine Hotel (formerly Delmonicos). P. L.
