Manhattan: 7th Avenue - 58th Street
The New York Athletic Club with its exterior practically completed, Seventh Avenue, east side, from 58th to 59th Streets, also showing the north side of 58th Street from Seventh Avenue to Broadway. Three of the Spanish Flats, the Tolosa, the Salamanca, and the Barcelona, are seen at the right; demolition work, to make way for the Essex House, is beginning on the last two named. June 26, 1928.
