Manhattan: York Avenue - 70th Street

1314-1318-1322 York Avenue (Avenue A), at and adjoining N.E. corner of 70th Street. 1314 was built around 1905 on the site of the Davis Moulding Mill (1895). 1318 is old 1318-20 remodelled. 1322 was built around 1895, as a cigar factory, and used around 1916 by the American Tobacco Company. These buildings are all about to be demolished; and their place will be taken by some of the new New York Hospital and Cornell Medical School buildings; a laboratory and the Nurses' Home.
