Queens: Northern Boulevard - 147th Street

Northern Boulevard, south side, between 147th and 149th Sts., showing in a set of 4 views the R. B. Parsons house of 1873. Samuel Parsons settled in Flushing where he died in 1841. He married Mary Bowne who died here in 1839. Their son Samuel B. Parsons was born at Flushing in 1819. The Samuel S. Parsons house stood in 1839 on large grounds on Broadway Flushing. The street under construction probably is 147th St. The house faces south on Thirty-eighth Ave. March 1924. Views 1, 2, 3 and 4. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
