Manhattan: 5th Avenue - 42nd Street

501-495 Fifth Ave., at the S.E. corner of East 42nd Street, showing the demolition of a 7-story structure. Upon this site was constructed a new 7-story affair; the latter in turn being demolished prior to 1922 and replaced by the present (1937) 21-story Bankers Trust Co. Building.
