Second Avenue, west side, north from East 36th Street. At 37th Street is a vacant lot at the S.W. corner, this will be excavated for the entrance to the Midtown Queens Tunnel. Across the roof of the 4 story building at the N.W. corner appears the utilitarian News Building. Note that these views are one month apart.
