Manhattan: 2nd Ave. - 2nd St.

Second Ave., west side, between East 2nd and 3rd Streets, showing the entrance to the New York Marble Cemetery between Nos. 41 and 43 Second Ave. This burial place is hidden in the center of this block and surrounded by buildings; those which appear in the back, face onto the east side of the Bowery. On the north side of East 2nd Street between First and Second Aves is another "Gods Acre" bearing the name "The New York City Marble Cemetery" which is not to be confused with this shown; though both belong to the same Corporation.
