Celebrations - Parades - Municipal Events - American Legion Parade.

Numbers 10 to 12 The American Legion Parade on Fifth Ave., at 42nd Street and showing the dense sidewalks. This, the longest line of march that New York has seen, took 18 hours on the part of the paraders, and more on the part of the spectators.
