Richmond: New Dorp Lane - Cedar Grove Avenue
(1) New Dorp Lane, at the S.W. corner of Cedar Grove Avenue, showing the Britton Cottage, built before 1695. It came into the possession of Britton in 1695, and later passed through the hands of Walton, Cubberly and Miss H. Lord. Still later it belonged to Dr. Nathaniel Britton, who deeded it to the Staten Island Association of Arts and Sciences in 1915. About 1905.
