Manhattan: Christopher Street - Greenwich Street

Christopher Street, south side, from No. 178 Christopher, east of West to Greenwich Streets, showing the demolition of the old houses adjoining and at the S.W. corner of Washington Street. The Barrow Street garage, the Christopher Street wing of which was at 174-168 Christopher Street, has also been demolished, and is to be replaced by a new garage for the Parmelee Transportation Company (the Yellow Cabs). The Federal building, with its post office, customs offices, and other federal agencies, is the tall building occupying the entire block bounded by Christopher, Washington, Barrow, and Greenwich Streets.
