Manhattan: York Avenue - 63rd Street

New York Homeopathic College and Flower Hospital, York Avenue (formerly Avenue A), west side, from 64th to 63rd Streets, from the clearing on the east side where the old malting plant has been demolished. The Flower Surgical Hospital, on the 63rd Street side, was opened by the Homeopathic College in 1890; and the other two buildings were erected about the same time. December 22, 1930. P. L. Sperr. This block of 64th Street, east of York Avenue, which now forms the southern entrance to Exterior Street (Marie Curie Avenue), will later be permanently closed and fenced off with the malting house lot to the left, after Marie Curie Avenue has been extended down to 63rd Street.
