Manhattan: Lexington Avenue - 42nd Street (East)

Lexington Avenue, north from East 42nd Street, showing prominently the westerly side of the arterial thoroughfare. At the left is the Hotel Commodore. Above same is the lot where the Graybar Building (420 Lexington Avenue) will be erected. Next in order are, the American Express Co. office building and the old and new units of the Grand Central Palace buildings. The Hotel Barclay is beyond the latter.
