Manhattan: William Street - Pine Street

William Street (thru the center), north from Pine Street (foreground, street level not seen) showing roof tops of buildings in the downtown area of Manhattan. The small structure in the center (pitched roof) is the Liverpool, London and Globe Insurance Co. Bldg. It is on the easterly side of this thoroughfare and occupies the frontage from Liberty Street to Maiden Lane. Opposite same is another low building; the Montauk Building which occupies the William Street side and frontage of the block mainly utilized by the Federal Reserve Bank.
