Manhattan: 57th Street - 5th Avenue

57th Street at the N.E. corner of Fifth Avenue, taken from the Heckscher Building on the S.W. corner. The roof of the mansion built by Mrs. Mary Mason Jones is shown. At this date it is being used by the New York Trust Company. In November of this year the bank will demolish it and erect its new fifteen-story building on the site. August 15, 1929. P. L. Sperr.
