Manhattan: Cabrini Boulevard - 181st Street (West)

Cabrini Boulevard, west side, north of W. 181st Street, showing the Dr. Chas. V. Paterno estate being cleared. Under demolition are the greenhouses and the castle-like home of this real-estate operator. The latter, constructed in 1908 at a cost of $500,000 is of Roman and English architecture. A modern apartment house similar to Doctor Paterno's adjacent Hudson View Garden Apartments will be erected here at a reported cost of $6,000,000.
