Queens: Grand Central Parkwa - Alpine Avenue

Flushing Meadow Park (Queens): The Administration Building of the World's Fair 1939-40, on the east side of Grand Central Parkway, below the Long Island Railroad tracks. To the left is the steel skeleton of the Trylon. View 2 shows the United States Government Building fronting on the Court of Peace. The structure is in the modernized classical architecture and was designed by Howard L. Cheney.
