Islands - Hoffman Island - Laboratory.

Quarantine N.Y. July 12, 1912. Every precaution is being taken by the federal health officials to prevent bubonic plague from getting into this country. Experiments of methods for preventing and fighting the dread disease are now being carried on at Quarantine, New York harbor.
