Manhattan: Park Avenue - 69th Street (East)

Park Avenue, west side, from E. 69th (left) to 70th Streets, as viewed northeastward from the vacant lot on the east side of this thoroughfare, between 68th and 69th Streets. Two low buildings occupy the above location; that at the S.W. corner of 70th Street is the George S. Blumenthal residence. To the north of same is a modern apartment house standing on the old Presbyterian Hospital site. At the right margin appears a portion of the Union Club, located at the N. E. corner of Park Avenue and E. 69th Street. Hunter College until recently occupied the cleared foreground area. April 25, 1938 P. L. Sperr
