A general view of the midtown Manhattan-Times Square district as photographed southward from the Fisk Bldg. at 57th Street and Broadway. This arterial thoroughfare is at the left, while Eighth Avenue is on the right. Upon the latter is rising the new Madison Square Garden. The old Sixth Avenue "El" line is running on 53rd Street.
