Queens: Northern Boulevard - Main Street
Northern Boulevard, south side, east of Main St., showing in a set of 4 views the rear and side of the Quaker Meeting house, erected in 1694. The lock on the inside is encased in an oak block about 8"x14"xl 2" and is fastened by hand made screws. It is the original lock. The wood burning stoves, found still in service here, were imported from England over two hundred years ago. The heat is distributed by pipes extending along the ceiling. July 1925. Eugene L.
