Manhattan: Duane Street - Park Row
A general view southward from Duane Street, between Park Row and Centre Street, and showing the City Hall Zone, when it was known as Printing House Square. This view is slightly further westward than No. 1, and also shows Broadway on the farther side of City Hall Park. On the right appears the new Hall of Records (under construction) with the City Hall Building just beyond. Note demolition of the Fire Engine Co. No. 7, Hook and Ladder No. 1, which stood at the northeasterly corner of City Hall Park. About 1902. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection.
