Manhattan: 26th Street (East) - 1st Avenue

East 26th Street, north side, east from a point east of First Avenue, showing units of Bellevue Hospital. The 5 story structure in the center is the Training School for Male Nurses beyond same. At the water's edge is a ward building, while beyond same appears structures on the Greenpoint (Brooklyn) side of the East River. Note at the left the new P.W. A. constructed Administration Building.
