Manhattan: Wall Street - Broad Street
Wall Street, south side, west and across Broad Street (left), as photographed from the Sub Treasury steps. The frontage referred to is in the center and extends from Broad Street on the left to New Street. The latter thoroughfare is behind the Washington statue. Note the Mortimer Building there. A glimpse of Trinity Church on Broadway appears behind the statue. Under demolition are the corner structures to provide a site for the new Wilks Building. Eventually all of these buildings will vanish for the ever expanding New York Stock Exchange. About 1890 Gift of Urbrock Collection
