Manhattan: Park Avenue - 52nd Street
Park Avenue, north on east side, from 52nd Street. The first building at the right is the Montana Apartments, built in 1912 on the site of the old Steinway factory. The N. E. corner of 53rd Street is new, about 1925. 383 Park Avenue, just above it, was built in 1911 and is now oldest building in the block. Further north No. 441, the small dark building on the N. E. corner of 56th Street (about 1880) contrasts with the new Ritz Tower Apartment Building at 57th Street, erected 1927. October 28, 1930. P.L. Sperr, Photographer.
