Manhattan: York Avenue - 68th Street

York Avenue at 68th Street, from clearing on N.E. corner, showing demolition of the Seidenberg factory building, which used to be the Robt. Burns Cigar factory; it was built around 1905. Adjoining it on York Avenue an old skating rink has been made over into tennis courts. The view is from the clearing where the "Central" apartment house stood and where the new New York Hospital will rise. The little building on the N.W. corner will stay. August 26, 1929. P. L. Sperr.
