Manhattan: 50th Street (West) - 6th Avenue

West 50th Street, north side, east from a point midway between Seventh and Sixth Aves., and across the latter. Shown under demolition is the southeastern corner of the New York Railways Company plant and barn which occupied the entire block. The low structures east of Sixth Ave. (Elevated station thereon) have gone and today (1937), units of Radio City stand thereon. Note the twin spires of St. Patricks Cathedral in the background.
