Manhattan: Barclay Street - Church Street

St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 22 Barclay Street, at the S.E. corner of Church Street. This is the oldest Catholic Church in the city. The original church was built of brick in 1786 and torn down in 1836, in which year the present church was built. June 11, 1927. P. L. Sperr.
