27th Avenue, north side, between 8th and 9th Streets, showing the Joseph Blackwell house of 1873. Joseph Blackwell was a dry goods merchant in New York City. The house is set back about 150 feet from the normal building line. Subsequent to 1929 it was used as a multiple dwelling. View 1: Eugene L. Armbruster 1922 View 2: P.L.
