69th Street (Juniper Avenue) west side, in 61st Road, showing what E. L. Armbruster states is the Furman house. Mellon was the owner in 1873. John J. Riker Jr. in his 1852 map of Newtown does not list an owner for this house. He does show that a J.T. Furman owned a house on the west side of Dry Harbor Road, north of Furmanville Avenue. -April 1923. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection
