79th Street, east side, between 32nd and 31st Avenues, showing the old Barclay Farmhouse (1852-1860) and outhouses. It was owned by J. Johnson, Barclay's son-in-law, in 1873. The house and land were formerly situated on the west side of Trains Meadow Road, before the thoroughfare was discontinued and the area developed into a residential neighborhood.
