Rodman Street, west side, on Mill Creek, about 200 feet north from Fifty-eighth Ave., showing a barn used as a storehouse by Bowne's, the operator of Bowne's Red Mill. This barn was used for bailing hay. The mill was operated until 1909. These brothers also had a feed store at 85 Broadway. Abraham Cock, who was born in 1779 and died in 1827, also operated this mill.
