Hoyt Avenue, south side, west from 24th to 23rd Streets. In the foreground is a small sheet-metal vegetable store and the rears of several houses fronting on the east side of 23rd Street. At the S.W. corner of the latter is an old farmhouse, having been part of the Hallett property in 1873. P. L. Sperr March 14, 1931
