Seagirt Ave., north side, between Beach 17th Street and Heyson Road, showing in two views the Tackapausha Hotel located at the N.W. corner of Heyson Road and Seagirt Ave. David Roach was the owner in 1891. The present hotel was erected upon the site of D. Roach's Union Surf Hotel of 1873. Other owners were S. Metzger in 1899, and A. Hartman in 1901.
