Manor Road, west side, 350 yards south of Brielle Avenue, showing the old Egbert House, dating back to colonial days. The house later belonged to J. Wood (Buller's 1853 map); to White (Beers's 1874 and 1887 maps); to Theodore Siersma (Robinson's 1898 map), and to David Kaplan (1907 Robinson map). The 1917 map shows it to be on the land of Sea View Hospital. Mr. P. L. Sperr, who photographed other views of this house, states that the house was being used as the sheepherder's cottage of the hospital. 1920's Ewing Galloway
