(1) Tompkinsville, Staten Island: A general view southeastward across the village of Tompkinsville and the Upper New York Bay. Note, in the center of the view, the fire house of Fire Engine No. 154, at the corner of Van Duzer and Hannah Streets. The vantage point is Tompkins Circle on Pavilion Hill. September 29, 1917 By Wm. T. Davis through P. L. Sperr (2) Viewing in the same direction across the same part of Stapleton. The fire house is still prominently visible in the center. The piers lining the waterfront and fronting on Murray Hulbert Avenue are, left to right, Nos. 7 to 12. The white lighthouse (left) marks the location of the Robbins Reef auto sales concern.
