(1) 1325 Flushing Ave., north side, east of Cypress Ave., showing in the foreground, the Nicholas Wyckoff farmhouse, acquired in 1765; from a Schenck. Another Nicholas Wyckoff was owner from 1852-1860. For more data see the N.Y. Sun. February 18, 1939. 1922. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection. Note that one of the barns is partially demolished by fire. Eugene L. Armbruster Collection. September 1928. (4) The same, showing another close up of the barn. It was erected in 1650 or 1656 (marked on rafter) and partially demolished by fire in 1700. The original joists remained and the barn was rebuilt around them.
