Sixth Avenue, west side, at the head of West 3rd Street, showing the frontage extending between Carmine (left) and Cornelia (right) Street's. In the foreground is the cleared swath beneath which is the Sixth Avenue Subway (under construction). The J. Lamb Ecclesiastical Art Works is at No. 323-5, and in May, 1937 will be converted into a motion picture house, the Waverly Theatre.
