Park Avenue, south from E. 39th Street (intersection in foreground) as viewed southwestward from what the writer believes to be the Chanin Building, showing several high apartment houses and the Union League Club. The latter is the square Colonial facade structure seen in the center of bot views. The two apartment houses facing each other at 38th Street are the 70 Park Avenue and the Murray. View No. 2 is southeastward from an office building at the northwest corner of Madison Avenue and 39th Street and emphasizes a rear view of the last named structures and the club. About 1932.
