Manhattan: 4th Avenue - 21st Street (East)
Rectory of Calvary Protestant Episcopal Church, 103 East 21st Street adjoining the N.E. corner of Fourth Avenue. The first Calvary Church was built on Fourth Avenue near 35th Street, but proved to be too far uptown, and in 1842 a second church was built on Fourth Avenue at the N.E. corner of 21st Street. In 1847 this church was torn down, and the present church and rectory built. August 30, 1927 P. L. Sperr.
