Richmond: Hylan Boulevard - Satterlee Street
Hylan Boulevard, north side, between Satterlee Street and Wards Point Avenue, showing the Billopp House (also called "Conference House"). It was built in 1688 by Christopher Billopp who aided New York's claim to Staten Island by circumnavigating the island in his own vessel in less than twenty-four hours. In this house took place a conference between Howe and an American committee, composed of Adams, Franklin and Rutledge. About 1930 Views 1,2,3 P. L. Sperr
