Manhattan: Park Avenue - 38th Street

(1) Park Avenue, east side, from 39th to 38th Streets, looking across the S.W. corner of 39th Street. These three apartment houses were built during the years 1922-24, No. 67 on the N.E. corner of 38th Street, on the site of the old Charles D. Barney residence, being the first. Behind it rises the colored tower of Town House Apartments at 108 East 38th Street, built in 1930. In the foreground the old houses on the S.W. corner of 39th Street are being demolished.
