Manhattan: 53rd Street - 5th Avenue

West 53rd Street, north side, west of Fifth Ave., showing a clearance where the old building of the Museum of Modern Art stood. Upon this site, and in conjunction with additional space thru the block (former Rockefeller houses) a new Museum will rise. At the extreme right appears the side of St. Thomas Church (P.E.) with its Bridal entrance and the intertwining dollar sign and bridal knot lattice work decoration. P. L. Sperr.
